Terrence Conran Coffee Table for Myer
A cute mid century coffee table with artistic flourish.
This linear 1950's coffee coffee table is a memorable example of post war British design. A utilitarian form of simple lines and materials is elevated by a whimsical flower pattern. The design is often attributed to Sir Terrance Conran and was released with a series of different artistic tops in the style of British artist John Piper.
Quality construction is quickly evident in a square section metal frame supporting a simple ebonised plywood shelf and tabletop. The patterned top is made from early formica. It's a stunning offering that will stand out in any contemporary interior.
Materials: Beautifully crafted from steel, plywood and formica
This coffee table is in very good vintage condition. There is age appropriate wear which adds character but no damage to note.
